Position summary

Roles and responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and control the various food preparation activities according to the lists established by the Director of food services;
- Prepare and cook food for the daily menus in collaboration with the Director of food services;
- Directs the clearing clerks in the execution of their tasks;
- Supervise the cleanliness and safety of the work areas;
- Take inventory and prepare orders;
- Assist in the receiving and control of merchandise;
- Perform any other related duties as required by the Director of food services.

Skills and qualifications
- Professional cooking diploma (DEP) an asset;
- Certificate of training in hygiene and food safety an asset.
Skills and behaviors required
- Able to work under pressure;
- Be in good physical shape;
- Ability to identify priorities and be able to respond quickly to last minute requests;
- Ability to manage staff;
- Punctual and responsible.
Schedule and duration
- Seasonal employment
- Day shifts only;
- Full time or part time with weekends.
- Start date mid-October (fall weekend) then start of season.
