What a better way to spend our free time than hiking with doggy! At Mont SUTTON, dogs on leash are allowed on the Fall Festival<\/a> site and on the ski trails. Be aware, some mountain bike trails intersects the ski trails and hiking trails. Your dog is also allowed to go up in the chairlift with you as long as he can sit on your knees.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The chairlift rides also give you access to the hiking trails. Chairlift is in operation from 9:30 a.m. to 16 p.m. during the Thanksgiving\u2019s long weekend.<\/p>\n

Located directly at the foothills is Mont SUTTON\u2019s main chalet, the heart of the resort\u2019s activities. You can buy your chairlift ticket at Mont SUTTON\u2019s ticket counter. Need something for your hike? The Boutique Exp\u00e9rience SUTTON<\/a> offers hiking shoes and boots, hiking poles, clothing such as jackets, toques and mittens. You will also find energy products. And why not bring back souvenir from the PUREMENT SUTTON collection<\/a> \u2026 reusable water bottles, insulated ceramic bottles, t-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps; you\u2019ll even find dog leashes and water bowls!<\/p>\n

Combine chairlift rides and hiking\u2026 get a ride on the main chairlift, when arriving at the summit, walk to the terrasse of chalet Alt. 680 m then go up the stairs, this will lead you to the trail Alleghanys then walk towards the chalet Alt. 840 m. Make a first stop on the belvedere on your left to enjoy the view then continue your ascension, you will pass in front of the \u00abRainette Versicolore\u00bb the new sculpture on the trails. After a walk of about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the chalet Alt. 840 m. A must at Mont SUTTON, this rustic wood chalet offers an incredible panoramic view of the R\u00e9serve naturelle des Montagnes-Vertes de Sutton, the largest private protected area of Eastern Canada. Take the opportunity to catch a few rays on the outside terrasse with doggy. You may then hike down the trail Alleghanys all the way to the chalet Alt. 680 m, the littles ones will love the mini obstacle course located a few hundreds meters from the chairlift landing stage. Here, you can choose between going down on a chairlift ride or continue to hike on foot all the way to the foothill. If you choose to hike back downhill, bring a trail map<\/a> with you to visit the other art sculptures in nature on the way down. The Bear and the Owl are easily accessible\u2026 be alert and look up, these sculptures are perched up in the trees. Back to the foothills for a well-deserved after-hike! Animation and activities for the little ones. Outdoor concert, wine tasting and gourmet food.<\/p>\n

If ever you take the trails of the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton, please follow the established rules. Dogs are allowed in the hiking trails but they must always have the leash on and stay outside the Natural Reserve of the Green Mountains area including the Round Top. In the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton (PENS), many bird species are likely to be designated as threatened and vulnerable, among others: the Bicknell\u2019s Thrush and the Peregrine Falcon. Use existing trails even if they are muddy or wet. By staying on the trails you help protect our natural heritage.<\/p>\n
